"Fantasy, abandoned by reason, produces impossible monsters; united with it, she is the mother of the arts and the origin of marvels." – Francisco de Goya

Sometimes there’s no logic in art. There’s only the illusion of something greater.  Art is expression; a fantastical world in which an artist’s mind travels.  Occasionally, there aren’t enough colors in the spectrum to convey what an artist envisions.  Art is a feeling; an energetic vibration of an altered life.

The virtual movement in this painting merges energy with fantasy.  The intensity of the contrast in colors and progression illustrates the origin of abstract art.

I started painting in 2005. The journey and evolvement has enriched my soul immensely.  I paint with appreciation for life—the past, present and future.  My heart is overwhelmed with gratefulness to everyone who shares in my passion. Going forward into the upcoming year, I will continue to create, inspire and affect those around me with heightened marvels of color and energy.

"Art has always been the raft onto which we climb to save our sanity. I don't see a different purpose for it now." - Dorothea Tanning

The purpose of art is to see what others might have missed.  What we see in a painting depends on our personal experience.  Some may see the moon with stars in a painting while others see the sun with dandelions in the sky.  Art will touch each soul differently depending on one’s mood or personal circumstances.

My paintings are like illusions.  The colors and textures form what each individual person chooses to see.  The purpose is to create a reaction within each viewer.

What do you see in this painting?  Look at the colors and imagine if there was movement.  Imagine the movement expanding beyond the four canvas corners…

Only the viewer can bring life to each painting.  You decide what you see and give it Purpose.

Explore the possibilities…
